Information we collect
When you fill out the "Request a quote" form, we collect: your name, company name, email, phone, type of organization, event date and project description. All fields except name and email are optional.
The form stores nothing on the site: it prepares an email in your own email app, which you choose whether or not to send to info@aqualux.ca.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and prepare a quote.
- To organize delivery, set-up and pick-up if you do business with us.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for any other purpose without your consent.
Retention
Your emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for business follow-up, then deleted no later than three years after our last exchange, unless the law requires otherwise.
Cookies and site technologies
The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It only stores your choice from the consent banner on your device. If we ever add measurement tools (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), they will only turn on after you agree.
Providers and hosting outside Québec
The site is hosted by Vercel (United States). To display, it loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation libraries from cdnjs and jsDelivr. These providers technically receive your IP address and basic browsing data, which may be processed outside Québec. We chose these providers for their recognized security practices.
Your rights
- Access the information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw your consent or ask for it to be deleted.
- File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Confidentiality incidents
If an incident creates a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.
